As most of you know, Cargo Cult is going to be showing at Artomatic 2009 and we're putting up our best effort to register as a team and get spaces nearby one another.

This was inspired by our brother JL:

"I had an idea for a project and I've already managed to get a few people to join in. It started as a challenge to the members of the Cargo Cult that was inspired by a recent walk down Fairmont Street NW on recycling day. I found a notebook that was in the trash, a little mistreated but otherwise undamaged. Inside the book was all kinds of things written by an apparently bi-lingual elementary student, practicing vocabulary. On a series of adjoining pages were the following words:

People Whack
People People
People People
People People
People

I can totally remember trying to remember how to spell "people" when I was in the 2nd grade.

SO HERE'S THE ASSIGNMENT ---

I've got some mini-chipboard pieces 4" x 6" and each Cargo Cult member is going to get three of them. Everyone will have to cover the board up with paper, or paint, or something, and then draw three people.

They can be doing anything. It can be just a face, or it can be just a bust, or it could be a whole person, or it could be a dismembered person.
